Puntolargo is an association created in 2009 with the aim of designing and making artisanal objects. Its founders are: Showroom Battipaglia & C., an upholstery workshop which, since 1967, has been creating high taste and high quality products; Lepre Carpentry, founded in 1959 and specializing in customised furniture; Daniele Della Porta, an architect and interior designer who has often collaborated with the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, and whose works have been published in many international magazines. In 2007, Della Porta designed the “Incline” table, and built its prototype in collaboration with Lepre carpentry. “Incline” was the winner of the “Vero Legno” prize at the “Young & Design 07” award.
The high quality of the materials, the traditional machinery and techniques, the wood finishing with natural oils, the fabrics exclusively composed of pure fibers and made with sartorial sewing techniques, all combined with an essentially functional design, are among the main features of the objects conceived and created by Puntolargo.
Furniture decorationDecoration of the pieces is made in collaboration with Franco Trabucco, a workshop specializing in the finishing of furniture with ancient artisanal knowledge and skills. What makes our creations really stand out are the use of natural raw materials in the production process, and the application of finishes exclusively by paintbrush.
Precious materials such as gold foil and silver foil, together with elegant and refined decorations all rigorously hand-made, and with attention for the smallest details, give life to unique creations.
